SIM (Community of Thought Inquirers) wants this website to be usable for everyone, including people with visual, hearing, motor and cognitive disabilities.

What we do

  • We follow WCAG 2.1 level AA guidance.
  • Text has strong contrast, and it can be enlarged with browser zoom without losing content.
  • The site works with a keyboard; every page starts with a “Skip to content” link.
  • Images have text alternatives, and pages use a logical heading structure.
  • The layout adapts to phones and tablets.
  • Animations are switched off when “reduce motion” is enabled on your device.

Known limitations

  • Application and question forms use Yandex Forms; their accessibility depends on that service.
  • Some meeting recordings on YouTube and Rutube have no subtitles.
  • Most documents and materials are available in Russian only; some only as DOCX or PDF.

Assessment

The site was checked by the developer with automated tools (Google Lighthouse) and manual keyboard testing. It partially conforms to WCAG 2.1 AA; limitations are listed above.
