About SIM
A place to
be yourself.
A community of people interested in questioning their thoughts and meeting in honest, attentive dialogue.
Together since 2018
Explore your thoughts.
Find support.
SIM is a nonprofit organisation registered in Russia. We introduce people to The Work of Byron Katie and support regular self-inquiry through meetings, programmes and contact with facilitators.
You can begin with one meeting, find a practice partner or follow a structured programme. We bring together people who want to examine their thoughts and share their experiences.
How the community began
- June 2018: the first meeting of the initiative group — Marina Filimonova, Tatiana Hoppl and Natalia Sidorenko.
- 18 September 2018: 23 people attended the founding meeting, adopted the charter and elected the governing bodies.
- 9 October 2018: entry in the Russian legal entity register. 16 October 2018: issue date of the Ministry of Justice certificate.
The initiative group developed the draft charter and programmes, invited Russian-speaking facilitators and practice participants, and organised legal preparation and the founding meeting.
